Scope of school
The scope of this course is to provide insight into neutron scattering techniques and their application for studies on structure and dynamics of condensed matter. The lectures will give an introduction on neutron sources and neutron scattering techniques; the experiments on neutron spectrometers at the Budapest 10 MW reactor will demonstrate to the students the art of utilisation of instruments at a large-scale facility.

Programme
The training consists of 6 days lectures and experimental works (introductory lectures in the morning followed by the laboratory practical work and processing and evaluation of the obtained experimental data).

The registration is open from 1st of December until 28th of February.
