These research projects have been supported by the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme through the NMI3 project (the Integrated Infrastructure Initiative for Neutron Scattering and Muon Spectroscopy) of the Key Action: Strengthening the European Research Area, Research Infrastructures. Contract nr: RII3-CT-2003-505925'.
NMI3 supported part of the users of these experiments by the reimbursement of travel and accomodation expense.
NMI3 dedicated almost 10 M€ (?) for access acitivities under FP6.

The new initiative NMI3 in the 7th Framework Programme started in February 2009.
In the FP7 the budget is not as large as in the FP6. The total amount for the NMI3 project is reduced to 10 M€. (compared with the 21€ of the FP6). The money dedicate to Access activities will be 4.8 M€ (around the 50% of the FP6 amount) . The access programme will run 2 years only (2009 - 2010).
